Our research nurses at The Melbourne Gastrointestinal Investigation Unit (Suite 35) provide educational support and advanced therapeutic options for patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
For patients under AProf Debinski’s care the team may:
- Organise baseline tests.
- Advise regarding pre treatment vaccination
- Educate in the use of drugs and any potential side effects.
- Teach you to self-administer injections and educate around safe disposal of needles.
- Provide regular treatment by injection or provide infusions with biologics drugs when needed.
- Provide infusions with biologics drugs when needed
